Waldo Pizza sells to Kansas City restaurant group: Were excited about this new chapter [Video]

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – On Tuesday, the new owners of Waldo Pizza confirmed that they officially purchased the popular restaurant earlier this month.

In a release, W. VinZant Restaurants said the sale of Waldo Pizza was finalized on Dec. 9, 2024, after its former owner, Steven Kingery, approached them. They also confirmed that Kingery will continue to work at the restaurant as it transitions into the new ownership.

Kingery said he’s excited to work with the new ownership team and is hopeful about what the sale will bring to the business.

“They offer Waldo Pizza tremendous support and expertise in areas such as employee and manager training, food and beverage procurement and development, office solutions and marketing that Waldo Pizza has never had before but deserves to have in the future,” Kingery said.
