Garryspillane defeated Bruff 2-14 to 1-14 in the Limerick premier intermediate hurling championship semi-final in Kilmallock
“We’re delighted to get over the line. At the start of the year, this is where we wanted to be. Semi-finals are there to be won and to get to the final” said Garryspillane manager Aaron Considine.
Garryspillane suffered relegation from the senior ranks last year. Considine’s side are now one game away from making the jump straight back up to senior hurling.
Goals from Hugh Flanagan and Colin Ryan proved crucial for the Knocklong side. Garryspillane defeated Bruff by three points in the premier intermediate hurling championship semi-final yesterday afternoon in Kilmallock.
After the game, Leader Sport caught up with Garryspillane manager Aaron Considine.
