GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – As the upstate continues to bounce back from Helene, small businesses are stepping up to help the community.
“So you’re getting comfort in a time where it’s a little uncomfortable,” said Jason Greene.
Inside The S.N.O.B—Spartanburg’s New and Old Booth-Tique–the owners Suki and Jason Greene have been working around the clock since Friday.
“We didn’t think it was going to be this bad, I don’t think anybody thought it was going to be this bad,” said Suki Greene.
They’re a vendor market and event space off West Henry Street, but instead of selling, they’re serving.
“To be in a position to be blessed like we are, the only thing necessary to do is give back,” he said.
The business suffered flood damage, but after cleaning up and regaining power, the Greene’s invited people in for A/C, Wi-Fi and charging—eventually rolling out the grill.
