Whataburgers to host fundraiser for Blue Santa shopping spree with kids [Video]

TYLER, Texas — For a couple of hours Tuesday night, a purchase at 23 East Texas Whataburger locations will go toward funding area Blue Santa programs. 

Every December, local first responders host shopping sprees for children, where they receive about $100 to shop at Walmarts across East Texas with local law enforcement officers and first responders. 

From 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Whataburger franchisee DKT Investments is hosting a fundraiser with half of the sales going to the Blue Santa initiative. There will be Blue Santas at the Whataburger restaurants.

This is the sixth year the Whataburger franchisee will support Blue Santas.
