PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – Saturday afternoon winter storm warnings were issued for the MOV regarding the storm that will pass through the region Sunday and Monday.
Heading into this evening, clearing skies will cause temperatures to fall into the mid teens, with wind chill values falling into the lower teens and upper single digits.
The winter storm warnings will officially go into effect Sunday at 12pm and last until 1am Tuesday morning.
Snowfall forecast has gone up slightly, with 7-10 inches expected throughout most of the MOV, and lower amounts farther south due to possible sleet and freezing rain mixing with the snow early Monday morning.
