A 37-year-old woman has been arrested for starting a fire at a vacant apartment building in Augusta on Saturday morning. Just before 5 a.m., the Augusta Fire Department and Augusta Police Department were dispatched to 7 Boothby Street following a 911 call reporting a porch fire. Upon arrival, fire crews quickly located the blaze on the first-floor exterior porch and successfully extinguished it.During the initial investigation, Augusta police identified Amanda Condon as a suspect. The Office of State Fire Marshal was called in to assist with the investigation. Fire investigators conducted a detailed investigation and interviewed Condon at the scene.Condon …
