Workweek warming to move into Siouxland [Video]

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – The big weather story from Monday is waking up to temperatures in the low 30s including a low of 32 degrees out at the Sioux Gateway Airport. Although, despite some morning frost, temperatures rebounded very nicely by the afternoon getting back into the 70s.

Tonight will not be as cool as Monday morning with lows near 40 degrees under mostly clear skies.

Warming then takes over on Tuesday as highs will get into the upper 70s and lower 80s across the region with plenty of sunshine and only a light breeze. We could see some haziness to the skies overhead the next couple of days due to some areas of smoke that will be in the Midwest.

Temperatures only warm more with highs in the mid 80s expected Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday with mostly sunny skies each day.
