WORLEY, Idaho — With the help of some peanut butter, Worley, Idaho, firefighters were able to rescue a puppy that was stuck in a culvert pipe a few days ago.
The Facebook post said the puppy was around 40 feet down the pipe. The pipe was too small for firefighters to fit in to rescue the puppy, but the community stepped in to help out.
Firefighters and community members started to dig down to expose the culvert before an excavator arrived to help dig.
The post said the puppy, named Charlie, was about 10 feet further down the pipe, and Charlie was stuck at a joint and couldn’t crawl.
