WSU cheer team wont be at Apple Cup due to bus issues [Video]

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University’s cheer team won’t be at Saturday’s Apple Cup due to bus issues.

According to WSU Director of Spirit Programs Payton Ibos, the bus that the cheer team would have used to travel to Seattle did not start Saturday morning in Pullman, meaning the cheer squad likely won’t be able to attend the Seattle match-up.

Given the proximity of University of Washington (UW) to Lumen Field in Seattle, a large cohort of UW cheer members will be at the event.
