MORGANTOWN, W.Va (WDTV) – WVU Medicine Children’s is starting fundraising efforts to support a new children’s outpatient clinic at the hospital.

The new facility, planned at over 15,000 square feet, will be constructed on the 10th floor of the WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital.

The project is expected to cost around $10 million.

Construction is expected to begin in early 2025 and should be completed by the year’s end.

The project will build new space for existing services at the hospital.

“Since WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital opened its doors, the need for pediatric care has continued to grow,” Michael Grace, president and CEO of WVU Hospitals, said. “We as a Health System are committed to continuing to grow as well to meet that need and to provide the world-class care that our children and families deserve.”
