York City announced new charges for vehicles, alongside adding evening and night-time charges.
YORK, Pa. — Three of York City’s city-owned parking garages will be changing their pay rates starting in the new year.
At 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 6 the parking garages located at West King Street, East Market Street and West Philadelphia Street are reducing the hours in which the city charges to 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Previously, the time of charging went from 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
Additionally, starting at 5 p.m. on Jan. 6, a $2 charge will be enforced per evening and night-time usage.
There is still no charge for parking on holidays, including York City’s New Year’s Eve celebration on Dec. 31 into Jan. 1.
