The company says they hope to eventually offer the new service at more stores in the future.
SAN ANTONIO — H-E-B is offering a new service in the check-out line as they continue to live up to their popular slogan “here everything’s better.”
The Texas-based grocery store is now offering “tap-to-pay” at its registers in all Central Market locations across the state including the San Antonio location on Broadway Street.
Shoppers will be able to pay for their groceries with their phones using services like Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay.
The company has been looking at different and simpler ways customers can shop after previously being one of the major holdouts on using Apple Pay, alongside Walmart.
H-E-B says they hope to eventually offer tap-to-pay services at more stores in the future.
