A WINDY START TO MAY… MORE RAIN & STORMS TOMORROW [Video]

Widespread rain will spread into northeast Wisconsin later this morning. Embedded thunderstorms are also possible. Then, after a short lull in the wet weather, additional showers and thunderstorms will return this evening. A few storms SOUTH of Green Bay might have gusty winds and small hail, but in general, today’s risk of severe weather is LOW. Rainfall totals, will likely vary from 0.50″ to 1.00″ (or more) across eastern Wisconsin, with lighter rainfall to the north and west. Our showers will be wrapping up by sunrise Friday morning.

Cloudy skies, occasional rain, and an east breeze will keep today’s temperatures in the cooler 50s. Areas southwest of Green Bay should sneak into the lower 60s. However, it’s all a small price to pay for warmer and pleasant highs in the lower 70s as we head into the weekend.
