Another Warm Day; Changes on the Way [Video]

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A little bit milder start for us today with temps in the low to upper 50s. Highs this afternoon will reach the upper 70s and low 80s and there will be a very slim chance of a passing shower or two mostly in areas north of I-20. Besides that, there are a few more clouds in the picture today.

Our First Alert Forecast is still on track to bring warmer temps and mostly dry conditions through the rest of this week. Even the weekend looks mostly suitable for outdoor activities. Highs will be in the mid-80s Thursday through Sunday.

Next week is when real changes come about as far as the weather is concerned. Afternoon temps will take a slight dip (only to the upper 70s/low 80s) as a cold front moves through the area Monday into Tuesday. This will bring widespread rain and a few …
