Atlanta Bread closing after nearly twenty years in business on Sunday [Video]

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Atlanta Bread announced on its Facebook page that it will be closing its doors as of this Sunday after nearly twenty years in business.

Jon Bibb, the co-owner and operator of the restaurant, released the following statement:

“After almost 20 years in operation, Andy and I went to negotiate a new lease with our landlord, CBL, as ours was finally up only to be told that our space had already been leased and our side of the center which includes Rack Room and GNC were to be ‘Re-merchandised.’ Over the next few months, we came to the difficult decision to close our doors this Sunday for good.
