Today’s guest is Leandro Vallejos, the Founder and CEO of Pearl Tech, Inc.

Pearl is a Hedge Fund that uses deep learning and statistical models to make trading and investment decisions optimized for risk, volatility, and opportunities. Track record achieving 79% annualized returns trading and 38% long-term investing.

Leandro begun his career at 17 when he became passionate about technology writing a research paper predicting the future of humanity. He begun trading and investing in stocks at 18 using his predictions to make successful investment decisions. After dropping out of community college, Leandro learned data science with python, calculus, statistics, and ML/AI all of which he used to trade stocks. Then begun the startup life.

Before founding Pearl, Leandro founded a social startup, Vibes, which later merged with Maple Technologies. After leaving Maple, he launched a social dating app, Pearl, before pivoting to a hedge fund. Throughout his journey, he learned to interview, design, deploy, fundraise, lead a development team, and go-to-market.
