SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The City of Sioux Falls plans to open two branch and leaf drop-off sites that will be free for residents to use starting Saturday, April 13.
The two sites are located at North Lyon Boulevard, near the fairgrounds, and Chambers Street, near the city’s Household Hazardous Waste Facility.
Both sites are set to be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays through May 26.
The sites are intended for residential use only. Lawn service companies, commercial businesses and double-axle trailers will need to go to the Sioux Falls Regional Landfill.
The city asks that you separate branches and leaves into different piles and remove any plastic bags, stumps, rubble or garbage.
