Breeze Airways increasing flights from Charleston to LAX before service starts [Video]

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – About a month after Breeze Airways starts service in May from the Holy City to the City of Angels, it will double the number of flights it will offer each week, the airline announced.

Breeze Airways’ originally-announced twice-weekly nonstop flights between the Charleston International Airport and the Los Angeles International Airport, which begin on May 3, will double to four times weekly starting on June 12.

“It is rare in Charleston for an airline to announce an expansion before the start of their service but our friends at Breeze Airways have done just that,” Charleston International Airport Executive Director and CEO Elliott Summey said. “This increase in service to Los Angeles is great news for the airport but especially for the Lowcountry and our passengers.”
