Chilly start, beautiful day ahead! [Video]

Good morning! We’re kicking off our Wednesday with cool and dry conditions. Temperatures have dropped into the 30s and low 40s in our western valleys. Outlying spots may wake up to some frosty surfaces (outside of Portland and Vancouver). Other than some mid to upper level clouds, today is going to be a bright and sunny day. Highs will range between the upper 60s and low 70s.

Clouds are forecast to build back in on Thursday as a Pacific low pressure system approaches. This system is expected to dive southeastward into California and just brush the Pacific Northwest. It will still fling some light rain over western Oregon and southwest Washington between late Thursday and early Friday, so cover up anything you don’t want getting wet. Temps will only reach the low 60s tomorrow, but should return to the mid 60s Friday afternoon.
