Cool but sunny start to the work week [Video]

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – Clouds and spotty showers will persist through the rest of the afternoon and evening before clearing up late tonight. A cold front will begin to enter the state overnight from the northwest. While the front is relatively dry it may bring the chance for some isolated snow showers across northern Maine. Some snow showers may drop a quick coating to an inch in spots, primarily north of Greenville and Houlton. Overnight lows will drop into the lower 20′s north and into the low to mid 30′s towards the coast.

Cold air advection behind the cold front tonight will keep temperatures well below average for Monday. Expect highs in the lower 30′s north to the mid to upper 40′s towards Bangor and the coast.
