Cooler and Rainy This Weekend [Video]

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Yet another mild and muggy start for us today with patchy fog spreading a little farther north than previous mornings.

Expect to see a little sunshine this Friday afternoon! Highs will reach the upper 70s and low/mid-80s today and we will stay mostly dry. Still a chance of a light sprinkle here and there. Starting tomorrow, more widespread coverage of rain and thunderstorms is expected.

Cooler air will also start tomorrow with highs topping out in the low to mid 70s. Gloomy, overcast skies will be back in the picture along with rain chances throughout the day. The greatest coverage of showers and storms will be into the early morning hours of Sunday. Starting around 1 AM and lasting through about 8 AM. This timing is still subject to change.
