BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – High pressure that brought us the beautiful weather the past two days will slide to our east today. We’ll start the day with some sunshine in spots early followed by increasing clouds as the morning progresses. A disturbance approaching from the Great Lakes Region will bring showers into the state this afternoon. It looks like the showers will become a steadier rain as we head towards evening and into the first half of the night tonight. Temperatures will be cooler, more seasonable due to the clouds, showers and a southerly breeze. Highs today will reach the 40s to near 50°. Rain continues tonight and will taper off from west to east near or shortly after midnight.
