But excitement is also sky-high for the UK baseball team, now ranked number three in the nation, with big games on the line this weekend.

Big Blue Nation fans know that the “Bat Cats” are the hot topic right now.

“I think baseball finally is getting the recognition they deserve. I mean, they were really good last year, and I mean they made it to the regional championships, and I think that was really good for them and I’m happy that they’re doing so well this year, and we can finally give them what they deserve,” said Ella Zombolo, a UK fan.
