Florida man catches gator with bare hands on busy street [Video]

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Mike Dragich was at a hockey game with his family when he heard that deputies in Jacksonville, Florida were looking for a gator trapper. 

Dragich, an MMA fighter, military veteran and licensed gator trapper, left the game and headed to the busy street where an 8-foot gator was holding up traffic. 

A crowd watched as he grabbed the beast by the tail, hopped on its back and clamped its jaws shut with his bare hands. He wrapped tape around the gator’s jaws and hauled it back to his truck. 

“It was only five minutes from the game, so I literally left the game, caught the alligator, and then went back to the game!” Dragich told a local TV station.
