FORECAST: First Warn in for Saturday morning with potential storms on the way [Video]

We are First Warning you about a stormy start to the weekend, as Saturday morning looks to be wet. A line of storms will blast into the area early in the morning, bringing downpours and lightning from around 5-10 am. A few storms could be strong with gusty winds and small hail, but widespread severe storms or flooding is not expected. The good news is, this line is in and out rather quickly. The area looks mostly dry by 11 am, and the afternoon will carry that trend. Highs are a little cooler behind a front, with upper 60s for Kansas City and northwest breezes at 10-20 mph.

Sunday does have a low rain chance, but much of the wet weather will be held south of our area. The odds for rain in any one spot are just 20%, and just for the afternoon. Highs will be near 70.
