After a dry and windy start to the week, we are tracking numerous rain and thunderstorm chances late week and into the weekend. A FIRST WARN has been added to the forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with those days looking the most impactful. However, we cannot rule out some rain and thunderstorms on Thursday evening as well, but that does not look as widespread. Let’s talk a timeline on rainfall chances this week. Tuesday morning, a few scattered showers are possible in a small window. We might have a few rumbles, but severe weather chances are not present. Thursday, our next chance, begins dry. Later in the day, a warm sector looks to lift into the area, giving us a scattered shower and storm chance. Still, severe threat isn’t great.
