Former DRDO Scientist Revolutionizes Momo Industry | Momo Business | Momo Startup Ideas

Shouvik Dhar, an NIT graduate and former DRDO scientist, always harbored the ambition to establish his own brand. In 2016, he realized this dream by founding Zomoz and inaugurating its first outlet in Inorbit Mall, Hyderabad. However, as Zomoz gained popularity, Shouvik encountered challenges in meeting the surging demand with his limited team and infrastructure. To address this, he embarked on journeys to countries like China and Korea to study their manufacturing practices. Through this exploration, he identified various machinery, reverse-engineered several, and ultimately developed his Momo-making machine by 2018, capable of producing around 8,000 pieces in an hour. This significant advancement in his momo production enabled Zomoz to achieve a turnover of 25 crore yearly and expand to 75 outlets across India. Additionally, he is the Founder of Prabhati Foods Private Limited.
