FROST ADVISORY overnight, warmer weather ahead [Video]

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – A FROST ADVISORY is in effect for the entire tri-state area from 1 a.m. until 9 a.m. on Monday. Temperatures will fall as low as 32°, so some areas of freezing in rural areas are possible.

BRRR! It was cold in the tri-state on Sunday despite no frost and some afternoon sun, as CVG had a morning low of 36° and an afternoon high of just 51°.

With clear skies, light winds and temperatures falling in the mid 30s, widespread frost will be likely Sunday night into Monday morning. In addition, some rural areas and river valleys may fall close to freezing. If you have a potted plant outside, take it inside and get the sheets to cover sensitive outdoor plants.

Monday is Earth Day and conditions will be pleasant. After a frosty start, temperatures will rebound into the low 60s thanks to mostly sunny skies.
