PHOENIX (AZFamily) — It was a nice start to our morning with lows in the mid 50′s and plenty of sunshine.
We will continue to see clear skies into the evening with a daytime high of 86 degrees. That’s close to our average high this time of year, which is 84 degrees. Then things start to heat up.
A strong ridge of high pressure will continue to strengthen and bring with it even warmer temperatures later this week. Starting Thursday through Saturday, we will see high temperatures in the lower to mid-90s, the hottest temperatures of the year so far.
Another low-pressure system will move in this weekend, bringing us another round of breezy conditions and cooler temperatures. Highs through the weekend will cool down and drop into the upper 70s on Monday.
