Carme Artigas was appointed as Co-Chair of the AI Advisory Board at the United Nations in 2023, working closely with the Secretary General of the UN. In her position, she is responsible for offering recommendations to the UN on decisions related to artificial intelligence. With over 25 years of experience under her belt, Carme has distinguished expertise on matters related to AI, business, technology, innovation and management, which she shares when invited to speak at a wide range of events.
Carme’s educational qualifications include a degree from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, an MSc in Chemical Engineering from IQS Barcelona and a postgraduate in Industrial Management & Administration from IQS Barcelona as well.
