Several days of warm, spring skiing and snowboarding starts Thursday, lasting through Sunday for the remaining open Colorado ski areas and resorts.
Then a big change happens as a multi-day storm will bring snow Monday through Friday next week as a return to storminess refreshes the slopes around the state.
Recap:
On Wednesday, clouds streamed overhead and small amounts of snow fell on a few northern mountain areas with between 1-3 inches of accumulation.
The rest of Colorado south of Interstate 70 remained dry and warm as the April sun continues to rise in angle and snow begins melting more, particularly on south facing slopes.
Forecast:
From Thursday to Sunday, the theme will be WARM. High temperatures around Colorado’s mountains each day will reach into the mid 40s and low 50s.
