A STAY-AT-HOME mum has revealed that she started a side hustle to make some extra cash, and has now made over £10,000.
Mum of two, Rachel, began making earrings out of clay in 2021, as means of making some extra cash, whilst looking after her children.
To make the earrings she uses Sculpey polymer clay, which can be purchased online for as little as £2.
She dyes the clay with ink and then chops it up into tiny pieces.
Rachel then uses white acrylic paint to mix the tiny pieces together.
Then, she moulds them into a square shape before cutting out the shape of the earrings.
After this, she bakes them and sands them before glueing on the earring backs and putting them under a UV light for 10-20 minutes.
