LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Indiana’s gas tax is set to increase April 1, Fox59 reported this week.
The current tax is 16.9 cents per gallon, but, starting next month, it will be 18.9 cents per gallon.
The rate fluctuates depending on the average retail price per gallon of gas.
Within the past two years, the tax was highest in July and August 2022, when the tax exceeded 29 cents per gallon.
