Last town hall for Oregon Road Fire victims before FEMA deadline [Video]

Tuesday’s meeting will be held at the Country Church of the Open Bible at 40015 N. Collins and will start at 7 p.m.

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Another town hall for residents impacted by the Oregon Road Fire will be held on Tuesday, April 16. The meeting will be the last time residents can meet with FEMA before the registration period for FEMA assistance ends.

The final day to register for assistance is April 20.

All members of the community are being encouraged to attend and ask questions even if you have not yet registered with FEMA or met with a case manager.

“We’re here and we’re here to help and I think that that is a is an assistance in and of itself,” FEMA Federal Coordinating Officer Duke Davis said.

Davis encourages families to take advantage of these centers. He says wildfire victims may leave here with solutions to getting their assistance.
