The Sacramento Police Department said the incident took place along the 2300 block of Florin Road
SACRAMENTO, California — A man was arrested after swinging a sword in the Meadowview area of Sacramento, police said Sunday.
The Sacramento Police Department was called to the 2300 block of Florin Road just before 3 p.m. for the incident and evacuated a nearby business.
Police spoke with the man, but he allegedly refused to step away from the sword. The Crisis Negotiation Team picked up talks afterward.
Eventually, the man was safely detained, arrested and taken to jail.
