DEADWOOD, Ore. – As work crews continue to clean up debris and damage from January’s ice storm, motorists traveling on Highway 36 from milepost 12 near Deadwood can expect temporary full closures and delays, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

State transportation officials said that motorists traveling on Highway 36 can expect delays of between 20 minutes to an hour starting on April 1 and continuing through April 12. Work crews will be bringing in heavy equipment to remove larger trees, logs, and debris on the hillside near the highway, ODOT said.
