AUGUSTA, Maine (WABI) – Governor Mills signed a bill that ensures that community members struggling with substance abuse disorder have ongoing access to recovery services.
LD 1714 allocates $2,000,000 to the new fund which will go towards more than 20 recovery community centers in the state starting in July of next year.
The centers provide non-clinical, peer recovery services, group support, recovery coaching and harm reduction services.
