Calls for a state overhaul as the Sewerage and Water Board task force recommends more overnight for the embattled agency.Former state representative Walt Leger said, “legislation is required if there is going to be a change made to the structure of the sewerage and water board.”According to Leger, the recommendations released by the task force are fair.“Those bills probably need to get started pretty quickly so they can move through the committee process and through the floor action required for those to become law,” said Leger.Lakeview resident Matthews Vargas said he’s tired of what he calls inaccurate billing and believes it’s time for a change.“Potentially, if they put the right people in charge, it could be great.
