Next southern Arizona Honor Flight postponed due to funding shortfall [Video]

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Funding problems forced Honor Flight Southern Arizona to delay it’s June flight.

The non-profit organization is known for its commitment to provide trips to Washington D.C. for veterans to visit memorials built in their honor.

In a statement, Honor Flight Southern Arizona says funding resources have become harder and harder to obtain.

“Each honor flight is a testament to the valor and courage of our nation’s heroes,” said Richard Robbins, Board President of Honor Flight Southern Arizona. “These brave men and women answered the call during pivotal moments in history, ensuring America’s continued freedom. It is our profound duty to honor their stories, struggles, and sacrifices.”
