Ola Electric Owns 50% of India’s EV Two Wheeler Market:

1. Sooo Bhavish Aggarwal tweeted the following this week: “One in every two 2W EVs registered in India is now an Ola S1 ! 🙌”
2. this is a bit of a juxtaposition against the state of the two wheeler EV market in India right now, because it’s actually down by 50% month-on-month.
3. This is because FY24 is officially over, meaning that FAME II is over as well, and the numbers are in for the first month of FY25.

Zomato Downsize:

1. Zomato has gotten the final approval that it needs to liquidate its Indonesia subsidiary.
2. Apparently they entered that market in 2013 and struggled to make any progress.
3. That said, they were up against Gojek’s food delivery service GoFood, which is Indonesian, as well as Grab’s food delivery service GrabFood, which is Singaporean.

Blinkit bigger than Zomato:

1.Blinkit is now MORE valuable than Zomato according to Goldman Sachs.
2. Blinkit is valued at 119 rupees per share, while Zomato is sitting at 98 rupees per share.

5. Charge Zoon raising 19 million dollars in their Series B, this is an EV charging infrastructure provider based in Vadodara.
6. Niqo Robotics, an AI agritech startup based in Bengaluru that raised a 9 million dollar Series B round to help farmers spray their crops efficiently.
7. Go DESi, a startup offering packaged Indian treats and sweets – they raised 4.9 million dollars in a bridge round.
