The organisers of One-Zero, the sportstech and innovation conference taking place at the Aviva Stadium next week, have announced the participants for its annual start-up competition.

The contest, run in association with The Players Impact, offers the winning start-up the chance to pitch their business to a syndicated group of over 700 athletes, investors and sportstech entrepreneurs.

The three Irish start-ups selected as finalists are Brace, a rehabilitation platform for injured and recovering athletes; Trojan Track, an equine movement analysis and injury monitoring system; and Movetru, a wearable performance-tracking start-up from Belfast.

Brace has over 800 users in 70 countries who have completed over 33,000 individual activities and shared 10,000 community interactions on the app. The firm has received financial backing from the Enterprise Ireland’s Pre-Seed Start Fun

Last year the company was awarded two pilots with the IRFU and Smart Dublin and completed a clinical validation study with Health Innovation Ireland.
