Paternity tests and turtles: Uber reveals weirdest things left behind by riders [Video]

(NEXSTAR) – Have you ever forgotten a toupee in the car? What about your pet turtle? No? Well at least one person has, Uber says.

The ride-hailing company released a report Wednesday detailing the most common – and most unusual – things riders left behind in vehicles.

The frequently forgotten items – clothing, luggage, headphones – aren’t particularly surprising. But the list of the 50 most unique items left behind over the past 12 months is far more eye-catching.

Apparently, someone left behind a paternity test in an Uber this year (hopefully they read the results before they got in the car). Another person left behind a frontal hair toupee. Some left behind live animals, like a pet turtle or two containers of spiders.

Some high-value items – like “expensive blueberries,” a framed Taylor Swift autograph, a car engine and “1000 bucks” – were forgotten. Others just had sentimental value. …
