Rentals are still available for a busy summer at the Shore [Video]

SEA ISLE CITY, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — Many points at the Jersey Shore are expecting another busy summer this year. Katherine Custer, Sea Isle City director of community services, said it could be even busier than last year.

“There’s a little lull between Memorial Day and when school lets out. But after that mid-mark in June, when colleges and high schools and grammar schools are all out, and people are starting to take their summer vacations. That’s when we really see things ramp up,” she said.

Ahead of the busy season, rentals are still available at all shore points. Sea Isle properties range from about $2,000 to $12,000 per week. How much visitors pay depends on where they stay. The condominiums usually run cheaper than the luxury beachfront properties.

If a summer trip is not in the cards, Custer said going in the spring and fall are also good times to go.
