Rustito’s Dulces opens storefront after TikTok hype [Video]

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. — “Rustito’s Dulces” began as an online business about two years ago and quickly gained popularity with the help of social media. With 99,000 followers on TikTok, Rustito’s Owner Olga Auclair is set to open its first brick and mortar store in Old Town San Diego. 

“You’re not gonna find it too spicy, you’re not going to find it too sweet. I feel like I found the right balance that I can bring to even children,” Auclair said. 

From dulces enchilados to sweet freeze dried candy, Rustito’s Dulces is a candy wonderland with a mix of flavors.

“So I do my own chamoy sauce and my own chilito powder for any of our mixes like our gushers enchilados, our peach ring enchilados,” Auclair said.
