Shark Tank India: Missed opportunity? 😮😮 [Video]

Mahek and Mohit pitched their startup upliance.ai in SHark Tank India.

Their product was this AI-powered cooking assistant, which could cook more than 500 recipes, with very little human involvement.

At Shark Tank, they couldn’t get funding from sharks because of reasons like high valuation, lack of market and slow growth.

However, their appearance at Shark Tank gave them much-needed publicity. After their episode aired, they were approached by multiple investors and as a result, they raised 34 Crore Rs in funding at a valuation of 143 Crore Rs, much more than their Shark Tank ask of 100 Crore Rs valuation.

And one thing new investors highlighted about this product is its AI capability, which could get much better with time.
