Since 2022, we’ve awarded more than half a million dollars in grants for small businesses. Think your organization could be a 2024 grant recipient? Hear from 2023 grant recipients about their story, how they found out about grants, and how they plan to make the most of their grant.

The 2023 Small Business Grant recipients demonstrate more than business growth—community impact is at the heart of their missions, from hunger to animal welfare. The 2023 Grand Prize Recipient, GiftAMeal, based in St. Louis, Missouri, empowers individuals to donate to a local food bank when they snap and share a photo of their meal at a partner restaurant. The program provides a unique mission-driven marketing opportunity for restaurants and supports food banks across the country. The $25,000 business funding will enable GiftAMeal to reach new communities and expand their cause.

Alongside GiftAMeal are four finalists each received $20,000 grants:

– Sunny Brook Menagerie (Plymouth, Massachusetts): Promotes animal rescue and education
– Tiny House, Inc. (Fresno, California): Web-based training to build tiny homes for high school career programs
– Founders PCs (Manhattan, Kansas): Equips gamers of all abilities with top-notch equipment
– Pascual Law, PLLC (Murray, Utah): Supports immigration journeys and family reunification.
