Spokane downtown parking meters to be swapped out starting May 6 [Video]

SPOKANE, Wash. — Dual parking meters in downtown Spokane will get swapped out for single-space meters starting Monday.

The City of Spokane will install the new parking meters, bringing 400 single-space meters to the city. The old dual space meters will be reinstalled around the city. A map of the affected areas can be found here.

The City said there will be no impacts to any, traffic, events, streets or sidewalks as installation is ongoing. If people are parked in areas undergoing installation, no one will be charged for parking.
