Spring weather starts this week for Arizona [Video]

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) — While our weekend is almost over, Spring is officially just around the corner!

There is still an area of low pressure sitting over Arizona, which is bringing a chance for showers across mostly northern Arizona. However, the north and east Valley have about a 20% chance of lingering showers this afternoon and evening. There is nothing really to cancel any outdoor St. Paddy’s Day plans.

As we start the work week, low pressure will begin to move away from Arizona. However, Monday is still looking rainy and snowy for the high country. For the Valley, we will stay in the mid to upper 70s with sunny skies.

It’s also worth noting that Tuesday marks the official start of Spring, and the weather will definitely feel like it!
