Starting Monday: Absentee voting begins for Sioux Falls city and school election [Video]

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Starting Monday, March 25, absentee voting will begin for the upcoming Sioux Falls City Council and School Board elections.

In-person voting will be held at the Minnehaha County Administration Building, Third Floor, 415 North Dakota Avenue from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and on Saturday, April 6, from 8:00 a.m. until noon.

Voters may also request that an absentee ballot be mailed to them by submitting an application to the County Auditor.

Voters must be registered by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25 to vote in the upcoming election and registration can be done at the County Auditor’s office, the City Finance or City Clerk’s Office, driver’s license station, military recruitment offices, public assistance agencies providing food stamps, TANF, or WIC, or the Department of Human Services offices, which provide assistance to the disabled.
