Staying Unsettled and Turning Cooler to Start the Weekend [Video]

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – A very wet start to our Friday with many seeing rain amounts of 1-2 inches so far, and another batch of showers is on tap for this afternoon. A cold front will be moving through from about 2-4pm with showers and a downpour or two. Wind will shift to the west-southwest and increase with gusts returning to 30-40mph at times.

Showers exit by early this evening and we may get some partial clearing to end the day. Staying breezy and turning cooler tonight with lows falling into the upper 30s in the Berkshires to low 40s in the valley. A few spotty rain or high terrain wet snow showers are possible through sunrise.

Tomorrow will be much cooler with lots of clouds, gusty breezes, and a few spotty showers here and there. Highs only reach into the low 50s for most and early showers may mix …
